Tuesday prep roundup: Bucs knock off Cannon

Cannon School’s successful ride through the CISAA boys’ soccer schedule came to an end Tuesday evening.

 

The Cougars, who built a 4-0 conference record, fell 4-0 at Charlotte Country Day in a first-place showdown.

 

Charlotte Country Day (12-2, 5-1) scored twice in each half.  The Buccaneers were ranked ninth in the state this week by MaxPreps.

 

It was the first loss in five CISAA matches for Cannon School, which dropped to 11-2 overall.  The Cougars were ranked fourth in the state this week.
